MAKUS by Thomas van der Sman

This is the MAKUS furniture that can be admired at design fairs, such as the Dutch Design Week. The designer is Thomas van der Sman. We are big fans of his work. The way in which he lets aesthetics and function reinforce each other is captivating.

The furniture consists of Fenix ​​Ross on multiplex, the top is from Hi Macs. In combination with the Simply Pink! a beautiful harmony is created. The furniture seems to float a little bit because of the construction. That makes the appearance light and less massive. The play of lines with the multiplex is rhythmic and playful. The proportions feel logical. The vase with pimpernels seems to be made for it. It is frivolous, airy. The fresh green fits nicely in the color palette.
