Did you know that terrazzo originated hundreds of years ago in Italy during the construction of churches? they had leftovers of marble and granite. These pieces were reused by casting them in a concrete floor. By walking on the floor the pieces eventually became visible. That became so beautiful that it eventually became a terrazzo craft.
